I find it fascinating how humans throughout history have garnered objects to hold memory and meaning, as protective amulets and memento mori. As a collector, forager, beachcomber & mudlark, found objects, both natural and man-made, feature in my work. Botanical themes, floriography, and the healing power of plants inform me. I explore natural imagery and symbolism. I work with paper, cloth, metal, wood, paint, ink, stone & plants.
